Martin Wollesen, Artistic Director

As the Director of the University Events Office, Martin Wollesen oversees a comprehensive and campus-wide student activities office that comprises ArtPower!, a multi-disciplinary performing arts program; Student Concerts and Program Advising; the UCSD Box Office; and beginning in 2008, FilmPower!, an international film series and festival; and The Loft, a fully programmed campus night club. Kristin DiNofia, Box Office Manager

As a UCSD Alumni, Kristin is happy to be back on campus serving the UCSD community. She has been involved in Ticketing and Event Management for a variety of live entertainment organizations throughout San Diego since 1992.


Mary Kelly, Box Office Assistant Manager

Raised in San Diego, Mary has been a part of the local ticketing industry for more than 8 years. Prior to joining ArtPower! in 2006, Mary worked at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, providing ticketing and customer service at more than 100 events. Mary is also a full time student studying at Mesa College with hopes of transferring to UCSD in Fall of 2008.


Seth Klonsky, Production Manager

Seth is a native Northern Californian who ventured down to San Diego in 2000.  An Economics alumnus of UCSD’s Muir College, he is actively involved in the UCSD Alumni Association and the Chancellor’s Associates. In addition to working locally for several large-scale public events, Seth spends his time sailing and cooking — two of his favorite hobbies! He scours the city looking for great new restaurants and is always looking for suggestions.


Brian Schaefer, Programs and Audience Development Manager

Brian received degrees in Communication and Dance from UCSD and has been an active member of the San Diego performing arts community as part of the San Diego Art Commission's Emerging Leaders program, as a dance writer for SanDiego.com, and as a performer.  Brian comes to ArtPower! from the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center where he worked as a community
organizer and non-profit administrator.


Amy Thomas, Program Promotions Manager

Amy is a third generation Californian who joined the ArtPower! team in 2003. She graduated from UC San Diego with degrees in Art History and Media and spent a year at UC Berkeley as part of the intercampus scholar exchange program. Prior to ArtPower!, Amy worked in sales and marketing at Curatorial Assistance, an arts organization that travels cultural exhibitions and provides arts-related services, and as a Media Associate for Butler, Shine and Stern in the Bay Area.


Beverly Ward, Business Manager

Beverly joined the University Events Office in 2005.  Before joining UEO, Beverly worked in the General Accounting Division of Business and Financial Services at USCD.  Beverly has a Bachelor Degree in Business Management and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Her favorite pastime is reading.


Rebecca Webb, Film Curator

Rebecca Webb joins the ArtPower! team as the founding Curator for our new film program. Rebecca comes to ArtPower! with a strong arts background in the visual arts. In addition to being an exhibiting photographer, Rebecca has been a director, producer and editor of documentary film. She has produced work in new media and has managed several publications. Rebecca received a Bachelor in Fine Arts at Tufts University/The Museum School in Painting in Printmaking.


STUDENT INTERNSHIPS

ArtPower! supports the academic and career development of UC San Diego students through a variety of internship  positions in programming, marketing, production, and community outreach.

Currently whave one paid Student Internship positions open for the 2007-08 academic year. If you are a full-time UCSD student and would like to apply, please visit Port Triton.
